Notes:

  • Tues in class will be for working on your final project in groups
  • Remaining labs (Mon and Fri of week 10) will be for project progress

Peer Evaluation Survey

  • each group received an email with their group to review (subject: [COGS 137] peer review)
  • one peer eval form submission per group

  • Graded on completion…but make it as helpful to the other group as possible
  • A more critical/negative review will NOT negatively affect the other team’s grade…but it may help them improve!
  • The more free text you provide the more helpful it will be

  • If the file you got was empty/just the template, you’ll have a very quick time evaluating

Final Project (Tues of finals week)

  • Rmd/HTML Report
    • Audience: COGS 137 students
      • unfamiliar topic; needs introduction
      • should walk through analysis and explain/interpret results
      • NO Extension necessary

  • Presentation (3-5 min)
    • Audience: COGS 137 students
    • If you present in class (next Thurs), no recording needs to be submitted (option for EC)
    • If you do not present in class, will submit video/link to video on Canvas
